- Reduced Natural Gas Consumption: GEL reported a 7.64% reduction in natural gas yield (measured in MMBtu per gallon of ethanol produced), cutting fuel consumption while maintaining production levels.
- Increased Production Efficiency: Enhancements in dryer performance led to a 45-ton per day increase in DDGS output, boosting overall productivity.
- Improved Environmental Impact: VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) destruction efficiency rose from 95.45% to 97.88%, as validated by EPA-approved methodologies, reducing emissions and meeting higher environmental standards.
